Reload eSports Rocket LAN - Winter 2017
Description
Get ready for an epic LAN event - Reload eSports' first PC Rocket League Tournament! This 3v3 tournament will feature up to 20 teams competing on LAN on the 10th September 2017.
It's a full day of competitive PC Rocket League with games being played upstairs at The Barracks Games Centre, a live stream with casters, and a dedicated spectator area downstairs at Reload Bar & Games. And yes, under 18's are welcome.
We will have 30 PCs available, allowing us to run 5 games at a time. Teams will compete in separate tournament rooms to their opposition, so there's no worries about screening or communications.
The spectator event at Reload is open to non-competitors and is free to come watch.

ENTRY FEE: $90 per team of 3 ($30 per player). You can also register 1 sub in your team for free.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Will depend slightly on final registrations. Assuming 20 teams max, there will be group stage qualifiers followed by single elimination playoffs. Top 8 teams from each group go through to playoffs.
MATCH FORMAT/RULES: Based on ESL 3v3 rules, see https://goo.gl/4FsMn1. We will write a modified document for our event soon.

PERIPHERALS: BYO controller. If using a wireless controller BYO wireless adaptor. We will provide kb, mouse, and headset or you can BYO. Cannot BYO screen.

1st place team: $600 and a unique tournament trophy for each player.
2nd place team: $300 and a unique tournament medal for each player.
3rd place: $100 and a pat on the back.
*If team registrations are less that 20 teams prize money will be based on a percentage of entry fees (40-50% of entry fees taken depending on attendance)
