Description
The FIFA 18 Euro Cup will be a European competition in FIFA 18 played on the PlayStation 4. It will be contested by 20 participants and only one will come out as the champion of Europe.
The structure for the competition goes as follows:
The 20 participants are split into 5 round-robin groups of 4. In each group, every participant will play each other in a game once. 3 points are awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw and no points for a loss. After each player plays each other, the top 2 players in each group advance to the knockout stages. 4 players will play in the first knockout round. 6 will be given automatic entry into the second knockout round (quarter-final). These 6 are the players who have received the most points in the round-robin group. Tie-breakers for this will be done through goal difference. After the first knockout round, 2 players advance to the quarter-final, leaving 8 players. 4 quarter final games will be played. The winners of these games will advance to the semi-finalsim which 2 games will be played and the winners of these games advance to the grand finale in which the European Champion will be confirmed.
