Description
The Amateur Australian Overwatch Ladder (the AAOL) is an Overwatch casual tournament aimed at all Overwatch players in the Oceanic region. It is run by Amateur Oceanic Esports (AOE), an organisation dedicated to providing amateur players with organised casual and competitive competition in several tournaments. The AAOL is open to players of any skill - from Bronze to Grandmaster. Players can sign up to the AAOL as a free agent, in a group of free agents, or as a full team.
Season 5 will be run as one ongoing tournament without a definite ending. New teams will be able to sign up at any time they like, but will only be introduced into the tournament every three weeks. Old teams will be required to confirm their participation in the next three weeks of tournament play, and will be removed from the tournament if they don’t confirm. This allows teams to take their own breaks, and it won’t punish the tournament if teams are unable to continue playing. The tournament will be run from the official AOE Discord server. Every week, selected matches will be broadcast by our talent.
