==================== SEASON 2 ====================
It’s been a long time coming, but I’m happy to finally announce the start of Phoenix League Season 2.
The tournament is set to begin on the 12th of July and will require a £5 entry fee per team. The league will consist of 16 teams competing in two stages throughout the following weeks.
Stage 1 – Groups
There will be 4 groups in the group stage competing in a double round-robin (facing each of the other teams twice) and the top 2 teams of each group will go through to the Playoffs. All these games will be Best of 1s and we will try to stream as many of them as possible.
Stage 2 – Playoff Bracket
The playoffs are a single elimination bracket going through, quarterfinals to finals and consisting of the top 8 teams from the group stage. All games in the playoffs will be streamed and will be Best Of 3s.
Map Pool:
We will be using the current active-duty map pool which consists of
- Mirage
- Train
- Overpass
- Inferno
- Nuke
- Vertigo
- Dust 2
Eligibility to Join:
In order to participate in season 2, all players within your team must have faceit anti-cheat as we will be using a faceit hub. No players on the team can be smurfs or have previous bans on either faceit or steam for cheating or griefing within the last two years.
