This tournament will be a base-game tournament with maps from Built-In packs ONLY (any FREE maps that are released before the tournament ends will be subject to selection).
How It Will Work
This will be a basic Double Elimination tournament with a Double Grand Final (meaning If the finalist from the Winner's Bracket loses to the finalist from the Loser's Bracket in the 1st Grand Final round, a 2nd Grand Final round will be held to ensure that EVERY player gets a second chance). Both grand-finalists from each Division will be eligible to receive a prize.
Difficulty Levels
There will be three* Divisions: Hard, Expert, and Expert Plus.
*the Expert Division may possibly be split into 2 tiers depending on participation
Map Picks:
ALL free songs from the base game will be placed on a spinner wheel. Each round, we will spin the wheel to choose a random map. The spin will be shared in the FB Group AND in tournament-news at the start of each round.
Tournament Submissions
You will have 71 hours to submit TWO PLAYS for each round (first-person, real-time recording please). You may submit to the FB group OR to the Discord Server in tournament-submissions. Each round will begin at 11am PDT and end at 10am PDT 3 days later.
